You called me a what? A racist? Listen, that's an extremely harsh thing to label anyone. I am not one of those people who puts skin color above other considerations and the fact that you insult me with the racist label tells me you are despicable. I would NEVER vote for someone because they were white. I would NEVER vote for someone because they were black. I would NEVER vote for someone because of skin color and I am utterly disgusted you would think that of me. I am NOT a racist. I am NOT a bigot.
I think you get the point. Anyone who voted for Obama because he was black is guilty of racism, and could very accurately and honestly be labeled a racist. For that is what a racist is: someone who puts skin color above other considerations like character, experience, and accomplishments. Obama is waking America up to the fact we need to look past skin color. That was not Obama's conscious desire (to wake us up) but that is the net effect. 1. Obama lacked character (he told his minister that his (Wright's) problem was he (Wright) didn't lie (this occurred when Obama was bribing his minister to shut up during his 2008 campaign). 2. Obama had no real executive experience. He never held a leadership role his entire life. The President of the United States has to be a well practiced and highly skilled leader! Anyone with Obama's lack of experience could not hope to meet such a challenge. 3. Accomplishments? Obama had none to speak of. Well, other than a book of memoirs Obama wrote at age 35. Very strange when you think about it... who writes a book about one's life when it contains no accomplishments? Later, Obama had two very unremarkable years as a Senator voting present most of the time. And so Obama's first term as President was naturally a disaster. Despite this, the public reelected him. Obama's second term appears to be an even worse disaster. Foreseeable? Absolutely! Many were utterly blinded by skin color and voted based on that alone. That needs to be corrected. Martin Luther King had it right in his I Have A Dream speech. We need to take a lesson so we don't make this mistake again.
Third time's the charm.
My grandfather told his son (my dad) that to do anything right, it takes three attempts. The first time you go too far in one direction, the second time you over-compensate, and the third time you get it right. I think America is in the over-compensation phase. First we were prejudiced AGAINST blacks. Right now we are prejudiced FOR blacks. I think we'll get it right finally and realize we shouldn't be prejudiced either way / skin color should not be the guiding influence. We are not quite in the final get-it-right phase, but with the in-your-face lesson Obama is giving us, we will get there more quickly.
Here's a progressive on Fox News that never ever got the memo about the fact that John Lewis lied through his teeth about being called a "nigger" by tea partiers. It never happened.
Andrew Breitbart exposed that huge lie via numerous videos of the event as well as interviews with the police and others who were there. Breitbart's famous challenge that if anyone had a cell phone video of anyone shouting the N-word, he or she would receive $100,000, was a huge story in and of itself. Breitbart had a safe bet because half a dozen existing cell phone videos of the event showed the narrative given by John Lewis was nowhere near the truth. John Lewis didn't account for the fact that today, people video such events easily with their smart phones. As I explained previously*, progressives ONLY mix with other progressives, so never hear about major scandals perpetrated by the left. I almost feel sorry for the the guy in this clip! He really didn't know. John Lewis not only was a liar and got caught, he never apologized for it, hoping the leftist media would hide the truth from the public. Indeed all the major news networks (except FOX) never reported this despite it being a HUGE story. The major living icon of the Civil Rights Movement lying outright in an attempt to besmirch the tea party movement? I think that's news, don't you?
